Are all Intoxicate ingredients cruelty-free and vegan?

Intoxicate cares deeply for the environment and the welfare of animals. Under no circumstances do we perform animal testing. Intoxicate skin care is 100% Cruelty Free. We never have and never will test on animals and we don't agree with using them in our products. Our products are 100% Vegan, with no animal bi-products being used in any of our formulations... even our 'Total Hydrate, Milk Collection.'

Why is it called Milk Moisture if it doesn't contain milk?

Milk Moisture in skincare refers to a type of product with a lightweight, fluid texture resembling milk. These products do not contain actual milk but are named for their milky consistency. They provide deep hydration and nourishment, similar to traditional lotions, but without the heavy, sticky feel. Skin milk is ideal for dry or sensitive skin, offering a non-greasy formula that hydrates effectively. The concept of using milky, creamy beauty products is rooted in ancient practices, where bathing in milk was considered a luxurious way to achieve soft, youthful skin. Many of these formulas are designed to provide an occlusive layer on the skin, meaning there's no need to layer another lotion on top to seal in moisture. They often contain a mix of active, hydrating, and occlusive ingredients such as Hyaluronic Acid.

Are all Intoxicate products Australian made?

All of our products are made in Australia with Australian ingredients and Australian standards. That means you know you can trust the quality of our products.

We believe in sourcing as many ingredients as possible from our own backyard, including places like the Outback, the Queensland Rainforests and the Eastern Coastline.

Many of these ingredients are grown in their natural habitat, and are wild harvested without the use of any chemicals.

Are your products safe for sensitive skin?

The Intoxicate product ranges cater to wide variety of skin conditions. Specifically for sensitive skin, the Intoxicate Illuminating Pink Clay Mask was specially formulated for delicate and stressed skin types. Infused with soothing Coconut Milk, the Pink Clay Mask is an essential product to achieve glowing skin all year round. We also recommend the Hyaluronic Acid Serum for sensitive skin.

Is a tingle on my face normal for masks?

Yes! That tingling feeling you're getting is completely normal due to the active ingredients tackling all the skin impurities. Make sure to rinse off your mask within 10-20 minutes of application. 

Do you have products for eczema and rosacea?

Eczema and rosacea are conditions that can be triggered by many common ingredients found in your skin care products. Inclusions such as fragrance, essential oils, urea, lanolin, retinoids, propylene glycol, ethanol and more can easily cause flare ups. Intoxicate products do not contain synthetic parabens or SLS, meaning our products are 100% natural and vegan safe. This does not mean that the essential oils or fragrances won't react with your skin condition. Hyaluronic Acid Serum is generally recommended as a suitable option for people with mild to moderate eczema. Hyaluronic acid is also rosacea's BFF and with consistent use, this serum can help address these symptoms.

Will I break out after using Intoxicate products?

Intoxicate products work by pulling impurities from beneath your skin above the surface to detoxify your face. If you find you break out, it is because of the bacteria and impurities coming to the surface. This is a normal initial reaction and it's a result of your skin's detoxification and change of routine. If break outs persist after continued use, consider switching collections to address an alternate skin condition.

What is the shelf life for Intoxicate products?

Intoxicate products have a shelf life of 12 - 18 months from the date of purchase. Please use your products within 6 months of opening and be sure to store them in a cool, dry place. 

How often should I use Intoxicate skin products?

If you have oily to combination skin, you should use the Illuminating Pink Clay Mask 2-3 times per week for best results. If you have dry or super sensitive skin, 2 times a week is best for delicate skin. You should use our Intoxicate Cleanser, Toner, Moisturiser and Serum daily for best results. Consult your GP if you have any concerns.

My face is red after using your products. Is that normal?

Pink clay brings blood to the surface of the skin as it lifts impurities from beneath your skin. This means that redness is perfectly normal after using the Illuminating Pink Clay Mask.


Below are a few tips to help:
Don't leave the mask on longer then 20 minutes.
Use warm water to gently rinse and remove the mask.
Remove the mask using a damp Intoxicate face puff.
Let the face air dry for 10 minutes after rinsing off mask before moisturising to allow skin to breathe.

Can I use Intoxicate products if I'm pregnant or nursing?

Congratulations on the new addition to your family! The entire Intoxicate skin care range is safe to use while pregnant or nursing. As an all natural, green science company, Intoxicate products do not contain any chemicals that will harm you or your baby. If you have serious concerns, we recommend talking to your GP.

Which shipping options are available and what are the shipping costs?

Intoxicate offers fast and free Australian shipping. International shipping rates are calculated at checkout.

How long does shipping take?

For orders placed within Australia, shipping will take 2-7 business days after the order is processed. Orders will be processed within 1 business day of order and a confirmation email will be sent. All orders are tracked with tracking numbers attached in the confirmation email.For orders placed Outside Australia, shipping will vary depending on which country you are ordering from. Shipping will take 10-25 days after the order is processed. Orders will be processed within 1 business day of order and a confirmation email will be sent. All orders are tracked with tracking numbers attached in the confirmation email.

How to check my order status and track my order?

If you want to track the shipment of your order, you can do so by clicking on the tracking number included with your shipping confirmation email.

Returns

How do I start a return?

1. Confirm that you meet our return conditions.

2. Contact our Customer Service team at indulge@intoxicate.au and with the subject “My Order [order number]”.
To expedite your request, please include the below details:
● Order number
● Address
● Date of product purchase
● Product(s) requested to be returned
● Return reason
● Product condition (unopened, used, damaged, faulty)

3. Within 48 hours, a customer service representative will get in contact with you. A customer service representative will request that you provide a photo, and any other relevant details. For more information, see section “Issue with Your Order”.

4. Package your item securely.
To reduce waste, you can re-use the packaging, if you no longer have this, you can use a similarly sized box.

5. Drop off your return at any Post Office.
You can print your return shipping label at the post office - simply present your returns label email on your phone. Please note that from the date of receiving the return shipping label, the parcel must be posted within 30 days to qualify for a full refund.

6. You can track the delivery of your return to our warehouse via the Australia Post Portal.
Simply enter the tracking number you received via email when you booked your return at the Post Office.

7. Once the parcel arrives at our warehouse, our returns team will inspect the condition of your return. If accepted, the refund will be processed and you will be contacted via email. Refunds take approximately 10 business days to be credited to your account.

How do I change or cancel an existing order?

We are happy to offer free change of mind returns with a full refund on any product you've purchased from www.intoxicate.au. Returns must be requested within 30 days after the date of delivery.

Once our customer service team have contacted you and provided a returns shipping label, the parcel must arrive back at our warehouse within 30 days to qualify for a full refund.

We only accept returns purchased from www.intoxicate.au.

Do you offer a money back guarantee?

We offer a 30 day money back guarantee if you are not happy with the results after using our products consistently for 30 days. We ask that you take photos before and after to help us understand your concerns.

If you have an allergic reaction to our products we will be happy to offer you a refund once we receive a photo of your reaction. If you have any known skin allergies please consult your GP.

A $10 shipping fee will be deducted from all refunds.

I placed an order but haven't received an order confirmation email.

When placing an order, your billing address must match the information linked to your payment method. If your payment is declined, please contact your bank or financial institution for assistance.

Can I use multiple methods of payment?

At this time, we only accept one form of payment per order in one transaction. Split payments are not available.

When will I be charged for my purchase?

The transaction will be charged to your credit card after we have verified your card details, received credit authorisation, confirmed availability and prepared your order for shipping.

Is GST included in the final price and how do I claim GST back?

All our prices include GST. If you wish to claim tax refund for your purchase, you may use supplied tax invoice for your online purchase that is also attached to your shipping confirmation email.

My order has been declined; do I need to place a new order?

If you have received an e-mail from us informing you that your order has been cancelled, please place a new order online, or Contact Us.
